Academics

I completed my M.S. in Chemical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA in August, 1997. I graduated in May 1995 from the University of South Carolina with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. I'm now in a Ph.D. Chemistry program at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey!! I'm also in the Queens Chorale, all-women Rutgers singing group.

Fun Stuff

My husband, John, graduated from the MSE program at CMU. (That's Master of Software Engineering for those not in the know.) He has a MSE page also. He graduated in December 1995 from USC with a BS in Physics and a minor in Computer (Geeking) Science. [Visit his web page if you don't believe me.] He's now working in Manhatten for the Associated Press.

This is a picture of John's little sister (Laura) and me a few years ago. I love my sister!!! She graduated from Dana Hall in 1998. She's now a sophomore at Carleton College.

John and I met at CMU as undergrads in 1991. [This is also where we met most of our "weirdo" friends.] I was a member of Carnegie Involvement Association (CIA), Society of Women Engineers (SWE), and a brother in Alpha Phi Omega. John is also a brother in A Phi O. "I'm a great-(to the nth)-big-brother to most of the current chapter.
