WindowsNT Configuration

Configuration Settings for Windows NT 4.0:

Double Click on 'My Computer' on the Windows NT Desktop and then Double Click on the Dial-Up Networking icon.
Click on the 'New' button.
Enter 'Telerama' for the name of the phone book entry and thenclick Next.
Click Next.
Enter your local access number
and then click Next.

Click 'Finish' on the next screen that appears.
Click 'More' and then select 'Edit entry and modem properties.'
Make sure that you have your modem listed beside 'Dial using.'
Under the 'Server' tab select TCP/IP, enable software compression, and enable PPP LCP extensions.

Click on the TCP/IP Settings button.
Set the IP address and the name servers to be server assigned.

Make sure that the two options at the bottom are checked.

Click OK
Under the Script tab select 'None.'

Under the Security tab select 'Accept any authentication including clear text.'

If 'Unsave password' is available click on it.
Under the X.25 tab select 'none.'

Click OK to complete the network setup.

Click 'Dial' on the original window to connect to Telerama.
Enter your Telerama username and password.

LEAVE THE FIELD MARKED 'Domain' BLANK.

Click OK to establish your PPP connection.
